Automatically remind your customers about Quotes
Servis' Automated Quote Reminders allow you to effortlessly, and autonomously remind customers of any upcoming Quote expiries. You can create a range of SMS and Email reminder templates, which will be automatically sent out to your customers when their Quotes are nearing (or passed) expiry.
Important Information
To ensure your customers are not disturbed by reminders during odd hours, SMS reminders are only send between the hours of 7am and 7pm (in the customer's time zone). Email reminders are excluded from these restrictions.
Depending on your plan, you will be restricted to a limited number of SMS reminders per month. You can view your active plan by clicking here.

Setting up Quote Reminder templates
Quote Reminder Templates are managed within Settings > Quotes > Automated Reminders.
For your convenience, some reminder templates will be set up be default. Be sure to view, alter and add to these to tailor your automated customer communication as needed.
Reminder templates in this section will automatically apply to quotes that have automated reminders enabled.
You may select the designated time for the reminders to be sent to your customers in their time zone. By default it is set to 9am
Add a new reminder template
To add a new automated quote reminder, simply click the "Add another reminder" button, select a time for the reminder to send, and click "Create".
A default message template will begenerated once you have created the new reminder. You can view and edit the message by clicking "Edit template" after creation.
When editing the template, a range of pre-defined macros are available to add customised information to your automated reminders. These include information about your organisation, such as email or phone number, and quote and recipient information, such as expiry date, recipient name, quote number and more.
Edit the reminder schedule
To edit the existing automated reminder schedule, click "Edit" on the reminder, alter the time for the reminder and select "Save".
If you wish to undo any changes prior to saving, select "Cancel" for the reminder to be restored to its last saved version.
Edit the reminder template
While editing, a generic preview is generated for the message, however, these macros will be automatically populated with specific information when the automated reminder is sent to the quote recipient.
Delete a reminder
You can delete any reminder templated by clicking the red trash can icon next to a reminder.
Note that deleting a reminder is final, and there is no way to reverse this action. Any scheduled reminders with this template will be unscheduled, and will not be sent to the recipient.
Enabling automated reminders
Servis' automated reminders can be enabled for invoices, and recurring invoice templates at the flick of a switch.
Simply toggle the switch for SMS or Email reminders as desired. This can be toggled during creation, or to existing quotes.
Viewing 'sent' and 'scheduled automated reminders
When viewing a quote, a detailed Message History section is readily available to see all messages that have been scheduled or sent to the recipient.
Note that quote reminders are only scheduled and sent when a quote has been issued to the customer. Moreover, it will not send if the quote is converted prior to the scheduled reminder time.
