Connecting the Xero Integration
The easiest way to get your data into Servis is by using the Xero Integration. It will import all your Customers, Billable items (e.g. Products & Services), Tax codes and Accounts. Your billable items will be used for your Quotes & Invoices. It will also send any sent Invoices back to Xero, and create the Customer for the Invoice if they do not exist.
- Go to Integrations (in settings) and then click “Connect” next to Xero
- Click “Connect to Xero”, this will open the Xero login screen
- Someone with access to the Xero account will need to login, select the right account and click “Allow access” to give access permissions to Servis to send/receive data on its behalf.
- That’s it, you should see the history and you can navigate back to other screens
Disconnecting the Xero Integration
You can view the connection to Xero status in the top left hand corner of the Xero Integration screen.
To disconnect your Xero Integration from Servis, click the “Status” switch. You will be presented with a dialog asking you to confirm whether you would like to disconnect.
After disconnecting, the data that was synced from Xero will remain in your Servis system. You will once again be able to modify and create certain data as you wish.
On disconnect we permanently delete the information required to authenticate with your Xero account, and we notify Xero that the your account has been disconnected from Servis. You will need to reconnect to reestablish authentication and syncing between Servis and Xero.
